A prominent feature of our lobby is memorabilia pertaining to Oliver Hazard Perry. Commodore Perry was commander of the United States naval forces that defeated the British fleet in the battle of Lake Erie on September 10, 1813. The chest contains British Fleet Commander Robert Barclay's dress blue cuff, surrendered to Perry at the end of the battle.
