After products have been completely manufactured, assembled, tested and approved, they enter the finished goods storage area. These products are then released by the materials manager to the logistical staff for shipment. Finished goods are held on a just-in-time basis to accommodate demand. Products are shipped on a rotating stock FIFO basis.
