 Wastewater Pumping Stations
Norweco's duplex pump unit is pre-engineered for specialized aerobic or anaerobic wastewater pumping needs. The duplex unit is used where high delivery or alternating cycles are required, as in alternately dosing dual tile fields or multi-stage sand filters. Each duplex pumping unit is easily installed with no heavy equipment required for delivery or installation. The pump basin is six feet high and may be extended with riser and ring sections up to a total burial depth of twelve feet.
A variety of 115 or 230 volt pumps can be included in the duplex pumping station. Single-stage centrifugal and multiple-stage high head configurations up to 12 horsepower are available, with varying solids handling capabilities. When both pumps are connected to a single outlet, discharge check valves are included as standard equipment. The remote mounted electrical controls automatically alternate each pump and include a high water alarm for back-up pump activation. Pump power cords and mechanical float switch cords are pre-wired into a NEMA 6 enclosure. Confined space entry equipment is not required for installation or maintenance.
