Lift Rail Wastewater and Water System

Lift-Rail wastewater pumping stations feature Norweco’s exclusive remote pump removal system and rail-sealing flange.  Thirty-six models of Norweco submersible pumps are available for all types of sanitary and storm sewer applications.  Incorporating duplex alternating pumps for superb reliability, Lift-Rail pumping stations overcome elevation differences, pumping raw wastewater up to a treatment facility or to pump plant effluent to a higher point of discharge.

Non-clog pumps feature semi-open balanced impellers and hermetically sealed, oil filled motors with high carbon stainless steel mechanical shaft seals.  The central control panel automatically alternates pump operation, reducing wear and increasing equipment life.  Concealed below the locked covers of the station, the telescopic hoist system is a permanent part of the installation.  The rail-sealing flange and remote removal system allow each pump to be lifted to grade for inspection and maintenance.  The external valve chamber places all gate valves and check valves at grade, eliminating the need for wet well entry if the system is expanded in the future.  These features make the Lift-Rail the most complete, flexible and dependable method of wastewater handling available today.
